Countdown: T-65 — Bathroom Remodel, Part 2

The first rule of remodeling is that things always take longer than you expect. How much longer? No one knows.

We made good progress with the bathroom on Friday, but it didn’t get nearly as far as I’d hoped.

I think we have about one more day to go, so we should be done in about a month.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Saturday was our school picnic. It was loads of fun. The rain held off until the first car load pulled out after things were wrapping up. That was lovely.

We had relay races, played Den, Lemonade, Streets and Alleys, tag, and more. We enjoyed a hot dog roast and s’mores and homemade ice cream!

Update on the plants I rescued from Hulga: They are surviving.
