Walter’s First Haircut

The past two days have been exceedingly busy and exhausting. No trouble, just lots going on. I’ll try to write about some of that another time.

But for today, I’ll just say that Walter got his first haircut. Well, technically it’s his second because Shawn cut the front of his hair a little while ago.

Tomorrow is Walter’s first birthday. Our tradition has been to give the boys their first haircut around their first birthday. Walter’s hair was certainly long enough! Dane held him on his lap to help keep him still.

He made us all laugh with his facial expressions and his noises as I ran the clippers. This year has passed very quickly, it seems.

Abbey wanted to help because Anne had helped cut Seth’s hair in his first haircut.
