And We Have Covid

Yesterday Percy said his aunt is terribly sick with the flu, and they think it is Covid. His whole family is still limping along with sickness.

Then Rafael said he was tested and is positive for Covid. He has fever and body pain and the whole bit.

Then I could not taste my coffee. Of all the things, that seemed to be the greatest emergency! Steph and I came into Cusco and were both tested, and we’re both positive for the virus.

My symptoms are much better than a couple days ago. I just feel like I have a bad sinus infection. Steph says she feels a bit like maybe she is fighting a cold with pressure in her head, but she has no symptoms.

I am assuming we contracted it through Percy’s family, but they haven’t been tested. We have two weeks to stay at home. But that won’t be a great adjustment, I guess.
