This morning, Steph and I did a few errands. We stopped by Fernando’s and Rafael’s with a jar of homemade caramel we made; we are leaving a jar here for Percy’s. We were headed to Alicia’s yet, but China messaged to say Alicia was at our place! We came back and gave our farewell to her, also.
The children and China finished tidying the house. We emptied the fridges, but we’ll leave the deep freezer going. Steph had the suitcases ready, so I needed to get them loaded and make sure we had our paperwork in order.
Because we cannot all easily fit into the truck along with our suitcases while Percy drives, Rafael offered to take some of us. I had everything loaded and ready when they all got here. I have lost track of how many times they’ve asked if we’re coming back.
We left the house at 3:55, headed for the airport. I do not know when I’ll next be able to give an update because my phone card will not work after we leave Lima. I think I’ll be able to get a prepaid card from Walmart sometime after we get to the States, but I may find wifi in the meantime.
