Steph’s Surgery Is Now

We’re at the orthopedic surgeon’s office now, outside the surgery suite. That sounds like a nice place, doesn’t it?

They will take Steph in soon and put her under, as they say. After she’s out, they will come outside and get me. I’m not sure why I’m not allowed to wait inside during that time.

The surgery will last ten to twenty minutes per hand, so about an hour from now, we should know if the surgery was a success or not. Well, I’ll know. Steph will be asleep.

This will create quite a change for us with Steph being out of commission for some weeks ahead. It’ll be interesting to see what all she learns to do without the full use of her hands. Maybe she will become a famous painter who holds the brush with her teeth. Something like that.

Thanks for praying.

Farewell!
