We’re thrilled that the workers found water at 80 feet and at 95 feet. They say it appears to be flowing streams, which is a best-case scenario.
They put in the first two casing tubes today, each one being about 19.5 feet (6 meters) long. They plan to put in the rest tomorrow.
After a few days of settling, we should be able to pull some out to see the quality. We’re looking forward to that.
In other news, I am sick. I held on as long as I could with others falling ill on every side, but I could not stand forever. During the day, it’s not too bad, but at night my fever goes up and up, even with taking Tylenol or ibuprofen.
One friend of mine said that we are always sick. I guess when there are so many of us, there’s a chance for someone to be sick almost all the time. And if no one else volunteers, then China will take it on herself. So, I guess I’ll take my turn.
We were exposed to Covid germs a week and a half ago, and my symptoms definitely feel like that. I don’t really feel like going to get a test, but it would be interesting to know if this is my fourth time with it or not. Do I get a sticker for the most times contracting it?
