When I last wrote in November, we had requested prayer for Alicia’s health. She did go through numerous tests. They found a tumor in the side of her throat near her thyroid, which they think may be cancerous.
She is on medication to help regulate her thyroid and another medication to shrink the tumor. Sometimes it is hard to follow what Alicia says because I think she may not understand all the doctors say, but I suspect the medication may be a pill form of chemo. I have tried to find out more, but her children don’t know much more either.
She has a lot of pain in her head and in her arms and legs, so they have scheduled her to have a scan of some sort. I think it may be a CAT scan, but she said it was an ultrasound. 🙂 That is scheduled for this week.
Alicia is doing well spiritually, but her health is a big concern and difficulty for her. She also requests frequent prayer for her relationship with her children and their relationship with the Lord.
