Selling the Ice Cream Machine and This Week’s Revival Meetings (26 of 100)

One of the last things we were able to finish up before Tanner left in March was selling the ice cream machine. Alicia’s son, Walter, who lives in Curahuasi, had expressed interest in it, and the timing worked out well. Tanner helped me load it onto the truck one morning, and Steph and a few of the younger children came along for the trip.

We drove the two hours to Curahuasi, enjoyed the visit with Walter and his wife, Evita, and took some time to walk them through how to use the machine and make a few of the recipes.

We had lunch together, shared a good visit, and headed back home. It was a good feeling to have that project wrapped up and even better to know the machine is going to good use. Walter and Evita plan to use it for part of their income.

Tonight, shifting to present day, marked the first evening of our weekend of Revival Meetings. We were glad to see a number of people come out, including Rafael and Piero.

After the service, Rafael sent me a message saying that the message touched his heart and stirred him to think more seriously about what it means to truly give everything to the Lord Jesus.

If you think of us this week, please pray. Pray for soft hearts, open ears, and for the seed to take root. We want to be faithful to speak the truth in love and trust God to do His work.

Andrew Crider and Orlando Rosales are here from Guatemala. Kenton Slabaugh is here from Texas.
