A Chocolate Museum, Chalupas, and Cake (38 of 100)

Today, we celebrated six years in Peru by going to Cusco—but first the cows all got out—a few times! 😒 I told everyone that I was thankful they all stayed calm, cool, and collected while we chased the beasts because it helped me stay calm too.

After the cows were in—again—we rushed to Cusco (before they could escape once more!). We enjoyed a fun day of visiting a chocolate museum, getting lunch, and running errands.

Back home, we made Mexican chalupas for Kenton’s birthday supper. We celebrated with a mango delight for him and a chocolate cake for us.

Today is six years since we arrived in Peru. For whatever reason, it feels extra cold! Anne thought it was even colder than that first day here. Even Steph was complaining about the cold, which she rarely does.

But we are happy and healthy and praising the Lord! He has been so good to us. I hope we can bring some joy to Him by our lives.
