Orlando, Magdalena, and their children, Salvador and Esmeralda, were such gracious hosts. They wished to have had us over every day, I think. We felt fairly spoiled by all their attention.
It was special to sit and talk with them about many things. They invited us to share with their family devotions, to pray with them, and to sing with them—besides sharing meals with us! They insisted that we stop by on our way home to grab a quick breakfast, which turned out to take a little extra time because we kept finding more things to talk about.
They say they want to save up to come see us in Guatemala. I hope they can someday.
